We went to my parents house on Sunday to celebrate Hanukkah with the family. We had a great time. Emily loves to open presents and even helped everyone else open there gifts. :)

Emily is 2!
Its official we have a toddler on our hands! To celebrate we had not one but two birthday parties...one for family and one for her friends.
I took Emily to her 2 year old wellness visit and she is doing great!
Height: 35 3/4inch (90th%)
Weight: 29.3 lbs (75-80th %)
Emily is now saying so much more, for the past 2 weeks she wakes up saying "its my birthday" and then will say"cake and presents" too. She knows how old she is, if you ask her she will yell "TWO" while holding up her two index fingers.
She is putting more words together like, "I did it, I do it, there it is, where did it go, Daddy where are you, Mommy/Daddy's turn, Mommy I want *blank*" She has no problem copying any word or words we say.
Emily enjoys playing with her baby dolls and doll house. She pretends to give them food and juice. It actually keeps her busy for a while. She loves to play with her computer, Mr Potato head and play dough. Emily also loves to play with her friends, especially Carly and Sienna.
She loves to eat but is becoming more picky and not as interested in trying new things. I told the Dr how she will eat breakfast then an hour later say "Mommy I want to eat" but she only gained 3 pounds in 6 months so the Dr isn't concerned.
Emily is still potty trained, we started at 22 months and she does great now, with an occasional accident but that's expected.
Something else exciting is that my mom is going to start watching Emily 1-2 days a week while I am at work! Kevin and I are very happy and fortunate that we can have my mom watch her.
Everyday with Emily is a fun but new adventure, she like to challenge us and enjoys "pressing our buttons." But we love it! :)

23 Month Update
Emily (almost) 23 months!
We believe that Emily has reached her "terrible 2's"!! As much as we enjoy our time with Emily she likes to run the show! She always wants to do everything on her own, and if she cant she will let you know she isnt happy about that.
New words for Emily, "ice cream, geko, pumpkin, oval (which she can also point out), hot and cold (which she can also recognize). She is putting more and more words together, and trying to make sentences.
So far in October we have gone to the pumpkin patch twice, once with my parents and once with Kevins parents. Emily and I also went to visit Auntie Jo Jo and Colton, Emily now pretends to call "jo jo." Grandma and Grandpa Spink came to visit for Kevins birthday and watched Emily while Kevin and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Auntie Gabbi also came for a visit since she is moving to LA at the beginning of next month.
I took Emily to gymnastics which she just loved and we plan to continue to take her, she loves to run around and climb on everything.
Emily went from house to house trick or treating and had soooo much fun. She also enjoyed passing out candy to the kids that came to our house. I think this is her favorite holiday!
