1st Tooth

Guess who is cutting her first tooth...yes its Emily! I noticed Emily's gums looked really red last night. Well today when I was looking I noticed a little hole in her gums, so I touched it and felt a poke! Its a tooth! I know she will be happy to have teeth so she can start eating table food! What a big girl!

Today Mommys friend Nathalie came over with her 2 month old son Seth. Emily really liked him, maybe a future boyfriend! Emily is learning early to beat up boys! :)

6 Month Stats

Kevin and I took Emily to the Dr last Friday for her 6 month check up! She did not like the Dr's office at all, I think she knows that is where she gets shots. However, we had them postpone her shots until tomorrow.

Emily Marie's Stats for 6 Months:

Weight: 16.05lbs

Height: 26.5 inches

She is in the 50% for her weight and head circumference and 75% for her height! She is eating rice cereal everyday and we started adding in fruits and veggies. She likes carrots , apples and peas, but does not not like sweet potatoes! We will keep trying new foods with her!

Kevin and I are having so much fun with her right now, this is such a great age. She is trying to crawl around by doing some creeping and she is sitting up all by herself and plays with her toys! She is a growing up so fast, I cant believe she is already 6 months and about to be mobile!

Who is 6 Months?

Emily is! Emily is now 6 months old, wow can you believe it? She is such a big girl. She is eating more things, other then milk, and she is sitting well oh her own, she is very mobile too. Not crawling but she lifts her body up like a plank and moves forward. She doesn't have a problem getting around on her belly and playing with her toys. She spends most of her day playing and smiling! On Friday we go to her Dr. Ill post her stats then!

Trouble Already!

I put Em on her play mat and she turned herself around and moved to the tv and started pulling down all of the DVD's! She is going to be crawling in no time!

Our trip to Santa Cruz

Me, Kevin and Emily went on a trip to visit Aunt Kelly and Uncle Jeff in Santa Cruz. We all had a wonderful time. Emily did great on the drive she slept most of the time, the hardest thing was eating out with her, she likes to hear herself talk and she is very loud as you will see in her video.
Kelly and Jeff love Emily and Kelly got put Emily to sleep and play with her, she did great with her! She is going to be a great mommy some day!

Mom Busy at Work

Ever since I have been back at work I have not been posting too much on here! So here is an Emily update, Emily has been going to daycare at Jessica's house and really enjoys it, I think her two boys keeps her really busy! My mom is having a fun time with Emily when she comes up too! And Kevin watched her all day for the first time yesterday, and he did great, he is a wonderful dad!
We are thinking that Emily is going to be cutting some teeth soon, we are feeling something on her gums a little suspicious. She is now rolling from her back to her belly and belly to her back. She wishes she could crawl but at this point she is just diving for things, like cell phones and remote controls, haha! She is doing good at sitting up on her own and likes to stand while holding onto things. She is a ball of smiles and we can even get a laugh at of her!
We look forward to seeing her meet more milestones!
