Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Kevin took last week off so we decided to get out of Sacramento. We decided to visit Aunt Kelly and Uncle Jeff in Santa Cruz. The best part was surprising Kelly when she got home from work! We had a lot of fun hanging out with them.

Kevin and I took Em to the Boardwalk and took her on her first ride, it was called Cave Train Adventure. She had a good time, just sat on my lap looking at all of the dinosaurs and glow in the dark prehistoric people!

Emily in Jail?

Since Emily has started crawling we needed to baby proof, so we bought 2 baby gates and put them together and she can play in there with out getting into any trouble, we think it looks like she is in jail! ;) She seems to like it for now. And Sox is safe too!

Our visit with Jo and Colton

Last week Emily and I went out to visit Jodie and Colton, he is so cute and becoming such a big boy. We went to a restaurant called Scoops and it had all kinds of toys for Em to play with, what a great spot for a play date!

Emily is trouble, I put her on a large blanket with about 10 toys but she needed to go get her two baskets of toys and dump them all over.

7 Month Update

I'm a little late for 7 months (Em will be 7 1/2 months this week) but we have been so busy. July 4th we didn't do too much just hang out at home, Em was asleep by 7pm. Maybe next year we will see fireworks. This last weekend was my birthday and Aunt Kelly and Uncle Jeff came to visit, we had a good time hanging out, we went to Chevy's and had margaritas, it was nice, besides the fact that I broke my front tooth! :(
Kevin left yesterday for a week, so its just me and Em all week! Today Em cut tooth number 2, finally, it took a month for it to cut! Yesterday Em did a fast army crawl, when Kevin gets home it will be time to baby proof! Em is also eating crackers on her own, she loves them they are called baby mum mums! You can here the little crunch every time she bites in, so cute! She also likes to use her sippy cup, she just grabs it and drinks! She is growing up so fast, such a big girl! Fun with Emily!

Kevin and I were both home with Emily this weekend, and we had a lot of fun!

Yes that is a little tooth, Em wont let me get near it so this is the best I can do for now!

My Birthday Buddy

Leah, Lexi and Allie came for a visit, remember Allie and Emily share their birthday! We started at the Cheesecake Factory, yummy, Stacy and Sienna joined us too, however we soon found out it was not the best place for kids. We went back to our house for naps and play! We later decided to take a trip to the yogurt shop, mmmm! Emily and I had a wonderful time with the Whipple family, we already miss you all!

Welcome Colton Andrew Truitt!

We went to visit a very good friend of Mommy's, Jodie, and her new baby boy Colton Andrew! He was born 6/12/09 8lbs, 21 inch, what a big boy! He is adorable, maybe a future boyfriend for Emily!

Happy Fathers Day!

We went down to Camarillo for the weekend, Emily flew for the very first time and did very well! Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding and Grandma and Grandpa Spink babysat Emily. We had a great time! The next day was Fathers Day and we went to Kevin's favorite restaurant in Santa Barbra, called The Palace, mmm its so good! Emily is such a wonderful dad, Emily is so lucky!
