Our new friends!

I joined a MOMs club, and I met a new friend named Stacy! She has a daughter who is two weeks younger them Emily named Sienna! Every week for about a month we have been having play dates. We have a great time together talking about our girls! We have gone to the mall, Goores, coffee shop, and target, maybe some day the girls will actually play together! :)

Visit from Grammy Spink and Auntie Kaite!

Grammy Spink and Auntie Katie came for a visit, Grammy stayed 5 days and helped watch Emily, cook and clean, thanks so much! Katie came for the weekend and we had a great time too! We hope you can come visit again soon!

On Valentines Day Grandma and Grandpa Grutman came up to babysit Emily so Kevin and I could go out to dinner, thanks!

Aunt Jodie came to visit again, Jodie is now 23 weeks pregnant and she is having a boy! I am so excited cause Emily is going to have a boyfriend, which Daddy isn't happy about, he says no boys until Emily is 35! But maybe one day Emily will be a Truitt! :)

Pretty soon Emily will be able to sit in here (she needs to be able to hold her head up), I think she likes it!

2 Month Update

Today I took Emily to the Dr. and she is now 12lb 1oz and is 24 inches long! Which puts her in the 95th % for her length and 85th % for her weight. She checked her all out and and the Dr. said Emily is "perfect." Kevin and I are very proud parents! At the end of the visit Emily got her first round of shots :( She did very good, she did cry but calmed down quick and is now sound asleep! Emily almost 2 months!

Emily's Week

This week, Emily and I hung out with some of my friends. They all got to see how much Emily has grown and the new things she is doing, talking, smiling, grabbing her toys! Can you believe she is already two months old!? (make sure you watch the video on the bottom) Sara and Emily.

Emily is doing great, she will be 2 months tomorrow! Last night she slept in her crib in her room for 7 hours straight. What a big girl! Emily has been smiling since she was 6 weeks but I finially got it on camera. It is so cute! She also talks a lot, sometimes she talks in paragraphs and tells us stories! When Kevin gets home from work, Emily tells him all about her day!

On Saturday, Emily and I visited the Whipple family! Allie is there newest addition, she was born the same day as Emily! Leah and I were so excited, since we talked about that happening through our entire pregnancy! Allie and Emily will have a special friendship and be best friends forever! Emily Rolled Over Today

Emily is 7 weeks and 3 days old, and guess what she did today...she rolled over! Aunt Gabbi and I were doing tummy time with Em and she decided to roll over. I wish I had a picture but here is one with her trying to go again! I am also putting a movie up but she just wanted to swim in it, I guess rolling twice is too much work to do it again!

7 Weeks

Emily is now 7 weeks, she is doing great! She loves to sit in her swing, lay in her crib and watch her mobile, and still eat, poop and sleep! Last night she slept 7 1/2 hours, it was really nice for me! She is still not sleeping on her own though, but we are working on it! She is talking a lot more and last week she started to smile, it is so cute, Kevin and I love it! We go to the Dr. in two weeks for her two month appointment, I'm not looking forward to it cause Emily gets her first shot! :( Wish me and her luck!
