Pumpkin Patch

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa G today. We went to Smith's Family Pumpkin Patch in Brentwood. We had so much fun! Emily had a great time with her grandparents. When we left she said "Banpa and Manma" all the way home! We cant wait for another visit! Tee-pee fun!

21 month Update

Now the time has really flown by...Em is actually 21.5 months, can you believe it!
New things with Emily....
She is putting words together "whats that, where did she/he/it go, there it is" are a few. Emily will pretty much copy anything we tell her to, such as pentagon (that one is funny), she has been learning colors, alphabets and counting. She also is getting better at saying names, Banpa (Grandpa), Manma (Grandma), her friend Arly (Karly), Noah, and Adam.

Emily does not walk she runs everywhere, she loves to chase her friends around. She now enjoys to climb on things too, so the park is a lot of fun for us. Emily likes to be outside and explore, she even likes to look at "bugas" (bugs).

She eats well but has gotten a little picky. Her favorite veggies are broccoli, and french cut green beans. Favorite fruits are apples, peaches, and all berries.
Emily likes to read books and have books read to her, she likes to watch Dora and Blues Clues.

Emily really likes to color with her crayons and play with stickers. She is also starting to have converstaions on the phone, so cute!

20 Months

Can you believe Emily is already 20 months! She more and more shows us how she has her own personality! Sometimes I wonder if she is starting the terrible twos...not so fun. She talks and talks and talks, she will say anything you ask her to, as long as she wants to. She still enjoys saying "NO"! We have been working on her alphabets and colors, she is doing great! She is very independent, and doesn't ever want help from Mommy and Daddy. Emily has been enjoying the pool this summer, she even enjoys putting Mommy's swim suit on. She eats with a fork and spoon and does great with it. She seems to be becoming a little more picky with the foods that she eats. Emily is very active and goes and goes, but she is a lot of fun and I am excited to see her grow! Below are pictures of Em when we took her on her first train ride, and from the state fair, Emily liked the fair and loved the cho cho train.

Back to Santa Cruz

This weekend we visited Aunt Kelly and Uncle Jeff in Santa Cruz. Em had so much fun. I was a little worried when Em woke up at 1030pm and stayed a wake for a few hours, but she did good after that, I think she was tired. Em loves Kelly and Jeff, especially Jeff.
